logcheck 1.2.63 has addressed this: http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/l/logcheck/logcheck_1.2.63/changelog#versionversion1.2.63 It's been synced for Hardy already. This bug does not justify a StableReleaseUpdate as far as I can see - the workaround is also quite simple (removing the

Thank you Ryan Parrish, I did apt-get source amavisd-new and copied the file logcheck.ignore to /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.servers/amavisd-new and hope this makes logcheck somewhat more quiet (but I trust you in this for now ;) ) if this really works out, this is OK for me, and I will wait for Hardy

I grabbed the source package for amavis-new and copied the amavisd- new-2.4.2/debian/logcheck.ignore over my /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.servers /amavis-new, it is quite different from the one provided by logcheck (much simpler) and seems to work just fine. Looks like the logcheck and the amavisd-new m
