I was trying to use the official upgrade guide http://kubuntu.org/announcements/7.10-release.php#upgrade, but I failed. So my friend was. According to the guide I MUST check that checkboxes, but I can't. Jonathan Riddell suspects that this guide will work to all of us without any additional pakage
