Confirmed on my Vaio laptop with Intel video card (Lucid 32). Not
reproducible on my Desktop with Nvidia graphics card (Lucid 64).
A good work around is to no longer visit the over-bloated pagesjaunes.fr

Same problem for me with my laptop equiped with an intel video card.
www.pagesjaunes.fr is almost unusable with Firefox (3.6.12 on Ubuntu 10.04).

In Maverick, with flashplugin-installer, I went to
http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/ literally typed 'anything' in "quoi,qui" and
"où", clicked "trouver" then clicked my browsers back button. Did not
crash. This is more of a work around then a fix to the package bugged
but...

this symptom is not reproducible in 8.10.
Anyway, the package libflash-mozplugin no more exists,
and idem for the file libflash-mozplugin.so.
So, it seems that the fix in 8.10 looks like what I did in 8.04 !

One would think that libflash-mozplugin is a stand-alone plugin, but I found
that
the problem is solved by adding the package flashplugin-nonfree, which provides
the libflashplayer.so plugin.
