But I think it is nothing that can be fixed in Ubuntu - the theme you've
selected is not packaged, you can (and should) ask the author to fix it.
Only if you have troubles with themes that are packaged for release,
this would be a valid task for ubuntu.

It ask me about encoding and - no problem at all.
if is about theme-settings is not OK because ;) why I can't use Open
Office because of my colors ??

Maybe this is unrelated, but I've seen in your log that there are errors
shown due to your theme-settings (LiNsta). Does this happen for other
gtk-themes, e.g. human or clearlooks, too?

In OpenOffice 2.2 (Feisty Fawn) he asks me to choose the encoding... but in
Gutsy with OpenOffice 2.3 it crashes without asking for encoding...

Thank you for your report.
I've downloaded the file and opened it with OOo Writer using Unicode and
Ascii/US encoding. It didn't crash. Can you try to run open office from the
terminal (command: oowriter), open the file and paste here all output, please?
