This still occurs in Hardy. When having dual-monitor side-by-side and
shutting off the right-hand monitor, windows that were on the right side
of workspace 1 end up on workspace 2, that's a little annoying but not a
big deal. Having dual monitor under-and-over and turning off the top
screen (which
by the way, could you please try to reproduce this behavior under Hardy
Heron.
