hm then i think such thing should be backported to Wily too if possible
i might find even more bugs in wily which are already existed in vivid
and still exist Xenial too

Actually - status should have been "fix released", as the problem is
fixed in version 7:2.8.1 which is currently in Xenial proposed.

yes i updated my system recently and while my system is not pure ubuntu studio,
it does have some of the packages
and i didnt know that the package/source location did change
and yes your linked change would fix my problem, so ubuntu only need to
update to that

If my assumption is correct, the bug should be reported against the
ffmpeg source package (which has replaced libav in Debian & Ubuntu
Wily).
It appears that in the next version of ffmpeg (7:2.8.1),
libavcodec-ffmpeg-extra56 & libavcodec-ffmpeg56 become alternative dependencies
as you suggest. W
I assume from your information that you just upgraded to the latest
Ubuntu Studio release (15.10). Can you confirm?
