updated version of the -intel driver. You can download and try the new Hardy

seeing with the "always" migration heuristic.
Can you please test with the following EXA option added to your driver
section in xorg.conf?

Just FYI, the symptoms are still present after updating packages on Oct.
9, which included kernel version 2.6.22-14 and xorg version
7.2-5ubuntu13. The corruption is still not as bad as with kernel
version 2.6.22-12, but does show up as horizontal white lines. The
lines seem most likely to occur
