The laptop was purchased in February 2015 with Windows 8.1 pre-
installed. A couple of months later, I installed Ubuntu 12.04.2 from a
usb install stick which I had created, alongside the Windows 8.1 system.
The installation worked fine as a dual boot system even though I had to
go to the boot opt
Could you describe the problem in further detail?
- In which order did you install the Ubuntu and Windows?
If you installed Windows after Ubuntu it is a well known issue that the latter
overwrites the boot menu so Grub won't show up. That been the case you can find
