Same thing here under Gutsy (it wasn't a problem under feisty). Like wilku says it happens randomly. I don't use gaim too, so i think it is not a gaim issue. I don't think it is an evolution related bug either because I use sylpheed :( Maybe it can be a system message like crash report or someth

Yes, it's still an issue. It appears between wifi notification and Gajim icon on my laptop. But I don't know the way to trigger it (it just appears after a while). On my desktop the problem doesn't occour (Gajim icon but no wifi). Hope this helps. -- notification area has 3 strange lines https://
