Sebastian, according to policy [1], Universe candidates for SRU should
be subscribed to ubuntu-archive. I have also checked in #ubuntu-motu
channel, and it seems that this difference between main and universe is
due to the amount of work that would be on small ubuntu-sru team

Works for me.
If it doesn't work for you, first make sure you have Kontact
3.5.7enterprise packages from Gutsy installed, not the unsupported 3.5.8
packages from Feisty.

Felix: did you install basket from gutsy-proposed? You need to add this
to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ gutsy-proposed universe
Then run apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.

After a complete reboot (not just restart of kontact/basket everything seems to

The patch does fix only part of the problem here:
Now the button shows up on the left side, but when selecting it basket is
opened OUTSIDE of Kontact. And it is not in the list of component ("Configure
Kontact" "Choose Components" or whatever this is in english)

Gutsy uses Enterprise branch of KDEPIM which has changed ABI for
plugins. This is the reason why basket does not plugin into Kontact in
