For mentoring: I would suggest to add a "manual screen" to the "generic" screens. You would have to replace the labels in the dialog with entry fields that are disabled for all other screen models. furthermore you need to add a sane default value and a verification of the entered information. if t

Yes, it would be definitely interesting an "Expert" option, which would allow to add manually modelines too. In my case, wowuld like to use a VGA to SCART cable this way on a laptop on PAL TV set. It would be great help, mostly becwause I've never seen that cable working... -- Need way to manual
