Yes, I agree with you about not giving to a novice user too much
configuration capability. In fact, Ubuntu follows this intent. But novice
users like very much desktop effects used by beryl and compiz.
So, how do you think they will react when they upgrade Ubuntu to
7.10version and find out that t
ccsm is the _last_ thing we want to give to a novice user.
