Ok a new user triggers no oops messages and can start without problems.
After I renamed my .config directory I can also login with my old
account.
However with this user the oops messages are still triggered when I
login.
Something in my (kde5) config must trigger this oops message..

Hm very strange I can boot in a live session with the daily iso of
kubuntu from today without a problem. However I see also no oops
messages in dmesg...

I have tested the 3.18 kernel from the repo and the problem remains. The
oops messages are also the same. Since kde has worked with 3.18 in the
past this seems very odd.
I have tried to reset the settings in kde and see if that helps, but no
luck with that.
It could be that the kernel oops are on

Does this issue go away if you boot back into the 3.18 kernel? It can be
