after applying updates to Gutsy Tribe 5 today.

I've found a quick workaround to get apt to finish configuring.
Edit: /var/lib/dpkg/info/hotkey-setup.postinst
And change it to this:
if [ -x "/etc/init.d/hotkey-setup" ]; then
update-rc.d hotkey-setup multiuser >/dev/null
if [ -x "`which invoke-rc.d 2>/dev/null`" ]; then
Saturday, September 22, 2007 After Latest Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 5 updates:
Errors were encountered while processing
hotkey-setup
ubuntu-desktop
This appears to have gone through at least 3 updates (number unconfirmed, due
to not always booting to the Gutsy partition).
Equipment:
Dell Inspiron 530N
