Well, if you are doing this in the command-line, then generally it would
be seen as strange if something GUI wise popped up. And especially so
would it be useless if you were in the console with no GUI or you were
using apt as a dependency of another program. Then this popup might
become quite a nu
You should get the same popup when running apt as you do with update-
manager or any other package management tool for that matter.
