The same happens with vnc and wine so it is a compiz issue I guess. If I have desktop effects activated I couldn't scroll with vnc but if I deactivate them without reconnecting vnc size fits and I can scroll. I am using current Gutsy. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: virtualbox
