I fixed the problem on my laptop: fglrxinfo gave my "Mesa" info instead of "ATI", so I disable AIGLX (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24/+bug/199359) and now fglrxinfo gives me "ATI" info and I do not have the error frame anymore. -- [Hardy] gnome-dis
