No, the syslog is clear. It may be a bug in the driver (due to different behavior of those buttons, maybe), because I've tried Debian Etch 4.0, and the problem was here. Now I don't run acpid because of that bug, but if I do "sudo cat /proc/acpi/event" and open-close the lid quickly, I see tons of
