After my last comment I updated the system by running apt-get update && apt-get
upgrade. After that, the NVIDIA card stopped working, but was still recognized.
So, I wswitched to the nouveau driver and ran purge nvidia* in order to clean
install the latest nvidia driver. After

Ah, sorry. My problem is fixed and don't need bumblebee. I use nvidia prime
now with the proprietary drivers.

Thank you, this did it. I had to purge and reinstall nvidia 331 updates
through software and settings for it to work in the end.

Hi Joseph,
I tried almost every source of drivers. I believe the problem is, that
in no way Ubuntu can detect the NVidia GPU. Also tried askUbuntu.com,
but no result.
