Spending hours of googling and trial and error just to get suspend to
work isn't nice and I'm surprised so many users have the problem but
there's near to no hint of how to solve it in reaonable time.
The new SuspendHowTo would surely be a big help if it could include a tutorial
telling some ste

Right, but submitting a bug will not help solve the problem for them
currently... bugs in a project like this sometimes can take a long time
go fix.
Can we include a recommendation, that *if* the normal suspend method
doesn't work, they should report a bug - and also try a _not_
recommended, but h
With issues like this, there is a difficult balance to address. In some
cases, the answer is that it's not for the documentation to fix, it's
something that needs to be fixed with Ubuntu. In other cases, the issue
is so widespread that it's helpful to include information about how to
address it.
