@Thomas: that's a different issue. Cleanly closing your session should
cleanly close Liferea. This was about Liferea not saving data when
closed unexpectedly (e.g. killing it).

I'm seeing the same behaviour in liferea 1.4.18-0ubuntu2 (on
intrepid/amd64).
For instance, when ending the session via logout/reboot, all changes are
lost. However, manually closing liferea before logout causes the state
to be saved correctly.
A regression, perhaps?

I have even hit this just shutting down my PC without quitting liferea.
This bug makes it almost unusable.
