There were some similar issues with lxterminal which were reported. I
would suggest to choose another terminal in settings and try again, it
should work I believe.

I read in the error log that pcmanfm could not find the file. Could this be
a broken path that pcman was unable to find? If so, how is pcmanfm
configured to finds apps and executed them in its browser window, which is
how I believe the application was being accessed.

I think this doesn't only effect the menu in pcmanfm but if you install
htop and then as it shows up in the menu on lxpanel and then add to the
desktop of htop it opens lxterminal but not with htop in the window. I
get the same thing in the rare case of the oem-config-repair desktop
icon if you try

if you are using libfm 1.2.2.1 now.
