I can confirm this one too. I am using Xubuntu 8.04 freshly installed on
a Dell Inspiron 9300 with ATI X1300.
I tried with the open source ATI driver and the fglrx driver.

I can confirm this one, I'm using xubuntu on an AMD64. Furthermore, when
clicking cancel, the screen goes black, with only a cursor visible. The
system becomes unresponsive but all processes continue normally.
