Barry de Graaff : Thank a lot for these detailed informations. Since the
original bug can't be reproduced and according to comments from the
upstream authors of brasero, I set the status of the bug to fix

I suspect that it has
Hi Saïvann,
The original bug was that Brasero dialog said that the size is being
calculated. And that lasted forever. I haven't seen that problem anymore
in the last version. So I think that one is resolved.
So this morning I enabled gutsy backports (so not using the live CD
anymore) and tried to
Barry de Graaff : Thanks for these detailed informations. From what you
say, you don't seem to describe the same symptoms as the initial bug
report. Does brasero crash during the burning process or during the
importation of files? Since brasero crash with a segmentation fault, I

on an intel 64 bit system.
So that or the codec problem.
Maybe it's an idea to integrate a timer in Brasero that
show a dialog after an amount of time. Showing debug
info (last command runned etc
I can't reproduce this bug but i'll research about your problem it might
be a codec problem somewhere yes.
Thanks

Hello Luis,
I just tested Brasero with gstreamer-fluendo-mp3 on Hardy Alpha 2,
Steps: Create new audio compilation-> then I add a mixture of
MP3 and OGG files..
When I add them to the compilation Brasero obviously tries to
save them in some sort of wav format for the burn. But some files

Hi.
I just testet in on Gutsy with the 0.7-Package from www.getdeb.net and it works
fine.
It is very nice to see brasero maturing so quickly and features being added in
each release.
There should be a "merge tracks"-option in order to put various tracks together
to receive one large track on the
The problem occurred on 7.10 (Gutsy), a 32 bit install on a 64 bit machine...
I will try to reproduce this on Hardy Alpha 2. But give me a week or so,
since it's holidays etc.
Happy New Year 2008
