Yes, great bugfixing strategy. Wait over two years until the software
is dead, and then say there won't be any "further" bugfixes. Even
though I provided a solution in the original post. Oh, well. Better
late than never, I guess. =(

The strigi kio slave is nonexistant in more recent versions of Kubuntu,
and thus will not be seeing further bugfixes or improvements. Thanks for

This is the same bug as 162300. Also, the workaround doesn't work when
trying to push a button (such as the search-, delete directory- or add
directory- buttons. A similar bug is reported as bug #202667.
