Till now, I haven't had the problem of Networking disabled again. So, I
guess it's fixed now :)

Strangely enough, hibernation through sudo pm-hibernate is working
properly on my original kernel version: '3.13.0-29-generic'! The
original problem of networking disabled after hibernation haven't
occurred yet, but like I said it only happens "Sometimes". I will try
hibernation for some more time
Karim Sonbol, the next step is to fully reverse commit bisect the kernel
in order to identify the fix commit. Could you please do this following

Sorry, I didn't choose 'Advanced options for Ubuntu' the first time. Anyway, I
installed the latest mainline kernel like you said. (v3.15-utopic)
sudo pm-hibernate now works! However, it didn't ask me for my username and
password after waking from hibernation. I don't know if this is a new featur

the following three files:

I installed the latest mainline version, but it didn't appear in the boot menu.
