Tribe 5 Gutsy Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu installed fine triple boot manual
partition edit mount point to / & format on IBM NetVista 2 gHz P4.
Problem as stated is fixed with Tribe 5.

Tribe 5 Install worked fine for the 1.2 gHz Celeron. Ubiquity ran
through without a hitch. I'll try the NetVista as soon as I get the
chance.

Gutsy 20070816 failed to install on IBM Netvista 2GHz P4. It's a quad boot one
hard drive system with partition 1 now clobbered by install failure, partition
2 swap, partition 3 Gutsy Xubuntu 20070630, partition 4 extended with an early
Gutsy Kubuntu, and free space.
1. First try, edit partit

The same here, with Gutsy amd64 live desktop CD daily build of 20070813.
The system has 2GB RAM, 200GB SATA2 HD, and I tried:
/dev/sda1: /media/win
/dev/sda2: /boot
/dev/sda3: /
/dev/sda5: swap
/dev/sda6: /home
After formatting the /boot and / partitions with ext3, ubiquity quits
without any aler
