I've just tried Manjaro Netbook edition manjaro-netbook-0.8.9-i686.iso and it's
all same. Exactly the same 'timed out' message in dmesg.

Isn't there a deb somewhere I could use to install beta firmware? Or a
deb allowing me to downgrade to some older version?
