Please provide instructions on how to install that update. On the other
bug the only place where I could find packages was that PPA.
So far the update I did from that PPA seems to work fine, I didn't see
any freezes ever since.

Thanks, it would be better if you could test the official proposed
update rather than the ppa though, that way you could help confirm the
update is good and can be published as a stable update for the benefit
of all Ubuntu users

I updated evolution-data-server from the ppa:mo42/private PPA and so far
it looks good.
I will report back in a couple of days in case the problem persists.
