The two workarounds mentioned in the redhat bug (The Seltaz, comment #2)
also work on ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
1) Enable "Keyboard shortcuts" in the "View" menu. Then F11 exits
fullscreen.
2) Hover the mouse over the centre top of the screen leaving it
stationary for a second or two. Find the invisibl
Note that the problem also occurs when connecting to a tightvnc server
on Windows so the problem is with vinagre/Remote Desktop Viewer 3.10.2.
