I'm afraid that was not written in your report, no; if you can provide a
test case with which valgrind developers could reproduce your problem,
that'd help. But I suspect that this relatively old report is unlikely
to apply to the recent valgrind versions which have seen a lot of fixes.

I sure hope you realize you just asked me to
a) install a beta OS on a machine;
b) 3 /years/ after I filed a bug report;
c) to try some code that was under active development 3 years ago;
d) using a different compiler (was gcc4.2, now gcc4.4) ?
Not to worry though, my job is actually not that impo
Could you please retry with valgrind 3.6.0 in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS beta?
