Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release, Hardy Heron? Thanks

At my testing server - now works fine also ebox-networking. So its possible to
get ebox work with one command:
sudo apt-get install ebox-all
But I have suggestions - I dont know is this network or firewall module
problems. Maybe both.

I forgot to copy the output message but I can confirm that I am having close to
the same problem. When I get home I'll get the output of #apt-get install
ebox-all
I'll also get my /etc/network/interfaces. Anything else?

Good call! The file is attached. It has lines for eth2, ath0, and
wlan0 which don't exist. I removed eth2 from the list and the install
complained about ath0 then. I removed ath0 and wlan0 so the file only
had lo, eth0, and eth1. The script completed that time, but I still get
an error.

I had already started the computer when I saw your message. I tried to
install again after the restart and still get an error although a
different one (similar to syadnom). This is also in a VM (VMWare

Have you guys restarted your systems since this problem arose? If not,
could you grab the output of 'ps aux | grep gconf' and attach it here?
I had a gconfd-2 that refused to die a few days ago. That could cause
this to happen. Otherwise, I'm still a bit clueless as to what could
cause this.
