probably you are right. I got a similar result with the KDE konsole. I
couldn't figure out what's going on here. Probably a firewall problem? ---
After the "hanging", after several minutes the server stops the
communication and I'm dropped out automatically.

Thank you for your bug. Could you try with an another terminal emulator
if you get the same issue? Could you get a backtrace of the hang? Looks
like rather a network communication or server bug
