It looks like I solved my issue. the mailnag configuring tool allows one to choose to start mailnag at startup. ticking that box makes a mailnag Startup entry at both system wide location AND the session start up location. I.E: with Ubuntu-Gnome guis the is a marked entry in the "Start up Ap

Mailnag.py crashes everytime I boot and log into Gnome shell except for the first boot after installation I added : X-GNOME-Autostart-Delay=60 to the bottom of~.congfig/autostart/mailnag.desktop to see if that would help but I get the same result, just a minute later. Mailnag .5.2 from
