Luke, that's definitely not a supported configuration. If sound still
fails to work with the default Trusty kernel, please file a new audio
bug, which will have updated logs.

Ah, I guess that might do it. I take it Trusty with a Precise kernel
isn't a supported configuration?
The newer kernel doesn't work with my cryptsetup-encrypted disk, which
is a separate bug I've been meaning to file.
