This sounds like a performance issue in fglrx with the GNOME shell. I'm
reassigning this to the fglrx-installer package, as fglrx-pxpress is
just a helper.

Hey. I am performing some tests, the issue seems to be happening only in
GNOME shell environment, on Unity or XFCE it's working fine. How i can
take more informations to help you to reproduce and fix this issue?
