Konkret:
In der Zeile 83 der Datei /etc/init.d/powernowd ist in der Spalte 43 der
Schrägstrich zuviel. Deshalb wird beim Systemstart der Fehler 156 angezeigt und
keine grafische Benutzeroberfläche gestartet.
Please delete Slash (line 83, row 43) in File /etc/init.d/powernowd.

hi,
i am also having problems with powernowd and any other method of CPU
scaling.
i am using a GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard from giga-byte with their most
recent BIOS update (F11b).
I hope it gets fixed soon as there a many posts about it.
