The same problem in Ubuntu Hardy but with compiz enabled. I run clear
slide Tilda and there are more prompts( they are inactive but still they
bother me). And Tilda is much slower than it's KDE equivalent Yakuake.

Compiz installed, but not running, and this issues occurs for me as
well. Running the command 'clear' in the Tilda terminal does what it is
supposed to at first, but after sliding Tilda away and making it come
back, there are many command prompts visible that weren't there before.
This is with Ti
I don't get it. This didn't happen until compiz was updated just a few days ago
for me in Gutsy.
Now I get this too. What's going on?

Actually doing a reset in tilda after recalling it double the width of
the screen for me.. odd.
