I experienced the matter coming from ubuntu to ubuntu studio. There is a mistake with a dependency of the ardour package of ubuntu wich make a broken package for synaptic/apt. At the moment, the only way i found is to uninstall ardour, then purge, then, install ardour2 from ubuntu studio. Or from
