My ccsm mproblem is resolved - the error message complained about an unknown
symbol, I think the variable name was in the bug report - I think it was
CCEdgestToStringList or something similar.
When I removed all compiz related packages, removed all third party sources

I'm getting this crash every time I run Advanced Desktop Effects Settings from
the System > Preferences menu item.
I am running with a fully updated (as of Feb 19, 2008) version of Hardy Heron
