Hey just so you know, I had fixed this ages ago and forgot to check back
here. The problem was with the ivtv driver, it was detecting my video
card's video input, and was not actualy supported by it. The fix was
simply blacklisting it at first chance. This bug is non-existent in
Hardy.

I know you're all busy, but might I ask if there have ever been any such
problems with the amd64 technology? I've also heard of such problems
with fglrx, but i'm not using it anymore either.
