I did it with adept.
But now I've removed python-gtk-1.2, and it seems to work. ipython says that
its imported from python-gtk2.
So I'm a bit confused right now.

Hi, thanks for reporting the bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
However, I have just checked the repositories and python-gtk2 is already
listed as a dependency.
Did you install gajim through synaptic?
