I recently took the plunge to Ibex, and it looks like this bug was
reintroduced somehow. Right after I updated my laptop, it wouldn't boot until I
added 'nolapic_timer nohz=off' to the menu.lst, is this a regression?
This was on Ubuntu 2.6.26-3.9-generic
Should I file a new bug or is it possible

This workaround ought to work for any kernel newer then 2.6.20, git
commit e9e2cdb412412326c4827fc78ba27f410d837e6e.
Ben is working on incorporating CPU identifiers that have this problem.
The fix will likely make final release, but missed tribe 4.
