Hi Achim
Thank you for your kind help!
Sorry for delayed response, I have been away for 3 days. Here comes the
output from the command (after I changed the language for Kubuntu from
my Norwegian bokmål to US English):
dpkg -l digikam\* kipi-plugins\* libkipi\* libkexiv2\* libexiv2\*

Nils,
FWIW: we had not problems here after edgy -> feisty with digikam.
Nevertheless I've updated my private feisty repo with digikam 0.9.2 and
updated kipi-plugins and gwenview.
See http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/kubuntu/feisty/Pkgs.php
Let us know if this helps,
Achim

Digikam will not start o
I am sorry, I don't want to run prerelease versions, and Digikam 0.9.1

worked
If you want to run prerelease versions, then it makes sense to follow
instructions how to install digikam into your home directory (or any other
directory like /usr/local) in order not to clash with ubuntu packages:
http://www.digikam.org/?q=download/svn
I have svn version installed in /usr/loca
Assigning this to digikam

I have tried once more, installed the system from CD and tried to start
Digikan once more. Same happens, crashes before it comes up, with signal
11. The dump-log is as follows:
