I can confirm the symptoms as described when trying to insert the
testcase image in openoffice writer, the exact error message is
"Graphics filter not found". Kubuntu feisty, ooo 2.2.0-1ubuntu3 (32 bit
install on amd64 hardware).

Thanks for reporting.
However, openoffice.org2-amd64 is a package created specificly for amd64
architecture, and no longer exists in the most recent releases (doesn't
exists in 7.04 "feisty", for example). Also, there was never a 2.2
version of openoffice.org2-amd64.
