So, someone just closed the thread it because in a different release the
bug cannot be reproduced? That doesn't make much sense... 'Fix
released' doesn't seem an accurate status endpoint for this issue...
What got fixed? And how? Many people still use 12.04 LTS, which is the
release affected.

This seems to be invalid now, the behaviour on my 14.04 install is as expected
by the original poster.
As there seems to be too few people taking care of old bugs in general, I'll
close this one.
