Currently this software can be downloaded without registration. This
makes packaging easier. Also because of the following remarks for
version 2.5.2 on Sun website:

The installer can ask for username and password before downloading and
installing. Otherwise the software cannot be downloaded in the first
place. It is much like the other installers that do not redistribute
software but provide a user friendly way to install software like this
form Sun.

As far as I can tell it is only available to registered users of the
SDN. While registration is free it is not legal to redistribute.
