Ok I solved my problem. I was echoing 32 to max_sectors_kb for sda
instead of sdb.
So the command that fixes this for me is (as root): echo 32 >
/sys/block/sdb/queue/max_sectors_kb

I also have the same problem when trying to copy files from my Nokia
6288 in data transfer mode.
I have tried changing max_sectors_kb to 32 and 64 with no luck.
