The bug appears to be fixed in 12.04.1.
Thanks for the reminder Thomas. We only upgraded our "production"
machines after the LTS point release, so we hadn't noticed yet. Some
nice improvements made as well!

This is still easily reproducible in Lucid Lynx. If your high-score
slots are clear, you should be able to reproduce it by the end of the
second game, but it is sometimes pretty random. Though in my experience
it has never produced the error on the first game. After the first game,

I started Mahjongg from the console without parameters, played 3 games
with the tileset postmodern on the default pattern ("schwer" in german,
meaning "difficult") and on the 3rd game, the error occured without any
output to the console

After maybe 50 games I'd say that 25 of them don't let me type anything in the
highscore and it doesn't take my username, just leaves it blank.

I also experience this consistently, and it is also about 25% of the
time. My partner and I take turns playing (same level, etc.), and
sometimes when she finishes it enters my name in the high score box and
won't let her change it (my name is the user name). There is no error
message to report - th
