The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

I'm not sure exactly. What I observe is that for some reason, only one
interface gets written to iftab during the default install out of the box.
My hunch is that when the install script is populating iftab, it doesn't
know about the other interfaces, perhaps because the other interfaces a

I can confirm that this happened to me. Here's my work around:
1. Use the -a flag of ifconfig to get the report on all your ethernet
devices.
# ifconfig -a
If you are like me, it will show the second card as eth2. Copy the MAC
address of the second card to your clipboard.
2. Then, as root, ed
